How to Sync the Impro UHF-77WiFi Wireless Microphones

Complete Step-by-Step Guide to Fix a Microphone That Suddenly Stops Working

Have one of your Impro UHF-77WiFi wireless microphones suddenly stop producing sound while the other microphone works perfectly?

Don't worry—it usually doesn't mean your microphone is broken.

In most cases, the microphone has simply become unsynchronized with the receiver, and it only takes about one minute to reconnect it.

This guide will show you exactly how to sync the Impro UHF-77WiFi microphone to the receiver, explain why it happens, and provide tips to prevent it from happening again.

Before You Begin

Make sure:

✔ Receiver is turned OFF

✔ Microphone is turned OFF

✔ The microphone has a charged battery

✔ You're syncing only the microphone that is not working

How to Sync the Impro UHF-77WiFi Microphone

Step 1

Turn OFF both the receiver and the microphone.

Step 2

Remove the battery cover from the microphone that needs syncing.

Step 3

Press and hold:

  • Power Button

  • SET (Sync) Button

at the same time.

Keep holding until the microphone LCD display begins flashing.

Step 4

Once the LCD begins flashing,

release both buttons.

Step 5

Turn ON the receiver.

The receiver's RF indicator will flash 4 times.

This means the receiver is searching for the microphone.

Step 6

Lightly press the SET button on the microphone.

Within a few seconds, the microphone and receiver should reconnect.

Your microphone is now synchronized and ready to use.

How Do I Know the Sync Was Successful?

A successful sync will result in:

✅ Microphone produces sound normally

✅ Receiver detects the microphone

✅ RF indicator stays active

✅ No additional syncing is required

If Your Microphone Still Doesn't Work

Before syncing again, check these common issues.

1. Check the Frequencies

Both microphones should NOT be on the same frequency.

A good rule is to keep them about 10 frequency numbers apart.

Example:

Microphone A: 542.1

Microphone B: 556.5

If the frequencies are too close together, the audio may cut in and out or experience interference.

2. Make Sure One Microphone Is on Channel A

The second microphone should be on Channel B.

Using the same channel for both microphones can prevent proper operation.

3. Charge the Batteries

Low batteries can cause:

  • Dropouts

  • Weak signal

  • Failure to sync

For best performance:

  • Charge batteries before first use.

  • Recharge after every use.

  • Turn OFF the microphones and receiver when not in use to maximize battery life.

Why Does My UHF-77WiFi Keep Losing Signal?

Wireless microphones operate on radio frequencies.

Interference can come from nearby wireless devices, including:

  • Wi-Fi routers

  • Cell phones

  • Bluetooth devices

  • Radio stations

  • Public safety communications

  • Military communications

  • Police scanners

If interference occurs, simply change the microphone frequency using the SET button until you find a clear channel. Frequencies may need occasional adjustment depending on your environment.

Tips to Keep Your Impro UHF-77WiFi Working Great

  • Keep the microphones fully charged.

  • Turn off the receiver after every use.

  • Turn off each microphone by holding the power button for about 3 seconds.

  • Keep microphone frequencies about 10 numbers apart.

  • Keep one microphone on Channel A and the other on Channel B.

  • Recharge batteries after each karaoke session.

  • If battery runtime drops below about 30 minutes after a full charge, the rechargeable 18650 battery or charger may need replacement.
